Does what it says on the tin for a good price
Great quality blowtorch head along with bitane canisters. The auto ignite makes it simple and easy to light the flame and the flame is hot enough to melt anything from aluminium to tin! The head consists of a plastic mechanism with a metal housing for the flame part. And being that i have used it for a good length of time now i see no damage except for obvious heat marks on the metal extruder. It works very well with welding so well that you can barely get the solder close enough before it melts. Eqch canister, being that they are designed for camping stoves, last for eons of time. All in all for this price you cant go wrong, youll have a powerful butane torch (which doesn't compete with oxyceteline) but will fufil all your needs with ease. Highly reccommend!

Cheap and Chinese, but it works (sort of)
It works and it was very cheap, but that's all there is that is good about it. The label states that it is for kitchen use only, but it flares so badly (even when warm) that it is far too dangerous for indoor use. The flame is too soft for plumbing use, so lighting bonfires is about all it would be good for. I bought a number of different Chinese torches and they are all about the same, so this is no worse than the others. They are all very crudely made from diecast aluminium parts - hence the low price. I like the gas can fitting because it doesn't leak when fitting like the EU 7/16 type does. If you want a kitchen torch, the smaller ones with integral gas tanks in the handle are better because they don't flare, and if you want a plumbers torch the expensive all brass ones are far better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This Will Outlast Me
I bought my blow torch for the kitchen and I was amazed how powerful it is. I hardly needed it turned on at all for my needs. It has also lit first time every time so far. The only concern I have is that someone could leave the head on a canister when storing the torch. I honestly think, without being over dramatic, this could be a fire risk if the gas isn’t turned fully off or the head is knocked causing a leak and then a spark off the head and then you have said fire. Good torch but hard to get low flame
Fits gas canister well and easy to fit. Ignitor works great. Good strong flame. Control is not really so good a part. It is a little stiff and quite hard to get to a small flame, it goes out too easily trying to get a low flame. Small torch, easy to use.

I have been looking for a blow torch for the kitchen, some are too small, the industrial ones are quite expensive. Infinitely better than any of the refillable blow torches in every respect. So much easier as well, mainly due to not wasting time filling each occasion you want to use it.
