Very basic much better on the market not the best for UK users
Quality of the picture is very good and I really like the ambilight feature, I have had easier TVs to use but after a while it’s straight forward, but the response time with remote a little sluggish when changing channel or use any smart feature.
The real downside of this TV is the built in apps mostly for the continent, absolutely nothing I would use, and also you can’t download any others which for a smart TV make it useless.
My main reason for purchasing this was to stream my TV and films from my own cloud drive, unlike my Sony Bravia this TV does not have VLC or any other media player available to use and has very limited codecs available ie. Hevc, h.265 do not work so quite a few of my downloaded programs will just not play, had I realised this I would not have purchased this TV.
Conclusion it’s a fairly average basic TV, ok for bedroom but with prices now cheaper, I would much prefer a Sony or Samsung as this Philips is not really very smart and with very few practical apps. So unless they put some decent software updates including improvement with codecs and the ability to download apps from play store such as VLC I would avoid this.
