It's the ultimate emulator!
Jailbroke the Vita as soon as I received it using the Trinity hack as the Vita I got was on 3.70 ofw. It plays everything and I have been playing Rondo of Blood on the Retroarch emulator. Its also great because you can play games that have no options to play the game with the original japanese voices. I just download the patched version of games and viola!! Also the ps1 classics and psp games running on Adrenaline are perfect because you can remap the game controls! Like the 3rd Birthday on PSP but running on my Vita allows me to use the right analog to move the camera instead of the d-pad! Good but no memory card
Everything was great except that it didn't come with the proprietary memory card that it needed to do any of the functions besides play the three games that it was sent with it would have been nice if there was a notation that it needed a memory card as my son was so excited to get it and then basically couldn't play it for another 6 days while we waited for a memory card to come from Amazon and that was the quickest way we could find to get one and it was not cheap.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Vita deserves more love
I adore the color (aqua blue). The grip is good even with my big hands. The sound quality is astounding and the video quality is great. You have dual joysticks (big advantage over the 3ds). It charges in a couple of hours and I can play my console all evening without recharging. Crossbuy with PS4 is awesome. If you buy a lot of games on your PS4, you already owns a lot of PS Vita games. Same thing if you own a lot of PS1 classics on your PS3. PS Vita is the only handheld with trophy support. It is bc with PSP and PS1 games. It's a great time now to buy one before it becomes a highly sought after collector's item. Only downsides is the memory card and the relatively small library of exclusive games (a lot was ported on PC and PS4 in the last couple of years). Still one of the best handheld consoles
I absolutely love my PS Vita. For a device that is 7 years old it has a great community behind it that fills in the gaps that Sony does not. I was lucky enough to get a blue PS Vita in a very good condition at a very good price (the same price to a regular black PS Vita in country with taxes and transportation). Highly Hackable, Highly Portable
Came with O/S rev 3.73 (the final firmware release), but was easy to downgrade to v3.65 and install homebrew, plus drivers for a SD2Vita memory card. No proprietary Sony memory cards were required to hack it. All in including a 128GB SD card and adapter, $135 for a really nice portable retro console.
