Excellent update to an already fine product, new bells and whistles
I was a previous owner of the HBS810. Decided to update with the HBS820+. The 820 is an all around fix to the 810 flaws. Better quality music sound and added dual mems that improved upon the mediocre voice call quality of the 810. The 820+ Bluetooth connectivity is also improved, I have no issues with pairing my 2 Samsung smartphones to it simultaneously. After using for 3 weeks now, I'm completely satisfied. Battery life lasts all day with moderate to heavy usage. I picked the 820 ultra over the infinim or platinum because of the moderate footprint on my neck which helps in long periods of wear reducing neck fatigue for me. Also the thin flexible construction allows for better portability because I can fold and bend it to fit into my pockets. Good and Bad
This was a refurbished unit. I like the refurbished units as they seem to last longer. This LG arrived quickly, with a charger cord only which was fine. I noticed immediately that this unit appeared to be better made than others I have purchased. I found out that indeed the quality of the sound was the best I have ever had. Everything seems to work fine except the volume control is out, BUT there is one consistent headache with this unit. It’s call button!. This low profile button is always making return calls to whoever I made my last intentional call to. It’s getting to be a problem. If I wear the unit and even turn my head a little, it calls. Almost scared to breathe for fear it will call. I wear the unit at night when I sleep to help mask my tinnitus, and as I sleep in a recliner, it is always making calls. I had a previous version that finally quit working after about 2 years so this unit works much the same, learning curve not much of an issue. Better Than Previous Model
This is the second time around for me with LG headsets. I almost did not buy this item since my previous model was so flimsy built that my cat broke it. After reading other reviews and now having used it for a couple of weeks, I could not be more pleased. The "neck band" of this model is a flexible, encased metal and far more sturdy than it's plastic predecessors. The only caveat is that some folks say they can't hear me as well as the previous model. That may be because the speaker is slightly more hidden under shirt collars, which I have just fixed by gently bending the metal neck band to create a larger arch around neck.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I love the design and they shipped ultra quick, but the toggle switches that do the vibrate/volume and tells battery status doesn't work, and also the toggle switch that skips songs do not function either. The outer speaker works fine.......But other than that you can hear clearly and whoever aim talking to can hear me as well....Just kinda disappointed that not all things function.😞 I gave you a 5 tho because they did get here super quick and I was in a bad jam.........my others broke. They are very easy to use it was also pack very well, it is a very good bye I would buy these again thank you so much, I had problems with the different types of earphones around my neck they would fall off and the earphones that you put in your ear it just didn't fit a woman's ear but with the LG's I love them and I have no problems with the LG staying around my neck I love them

Comfort
I prefer this model over my previous HBS900 due to the slimmer neck band. Much more comfortable otherwise not much difference. Only concern is the spring loaded tetractable ear buds.
