Works great!
Works great! I have VERY long hair and was so amazed how much hair it trapped in just one use that I made some photos (see below) and a short video and sent it to my sister. She immediately ordered one for her tub and a Showershroom for her shower. Very easy to clean with a tissue.

Ok, but there's better
They made an improved version of this called the Tubshroom (and Sinksroom) Ultra. You want to skip this one and get the Ultra one. This one works as advertised, but the Ultras are better. This one is all rubber and when I turn on the water, the force of water closes the stopper and fills up the tub. You have to remove it until you turn the water from tub to shower, then it works fine. The Ultra has actual legs built into it which remedied this what I imagine to be a common issue. This would be fine if you only have a shower and not a bathtub/shower mix.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great for catching hair, but lint is harder to remove
For catching hair and keeping the drain clean, it works great. If you have ever had to call Roto Rooter to clean out a tub drain, this will save you money. There are a couple of caveats. 1. You will need to clean it at least twice a week, possibly more often, depending on how many people shower. If too much hair builds up, it will cause excess suds and significantly slow draining. 2. Also, it can take a minute or two to clean. It not only catches hair, but also lint. Lint catches in the little holes and is harder to remove than hair. It just works.
This product does as it says and catches hair. Long hair, short hair it catches it all. There is one thing about it that may make it seem like it isn't working. When I first installed it the water was backing up and we were standing in a puddle of nasty water. I didn't know what I had done wrong because I thought I followed the directions and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to install it. What I found is it needed to be tweaked just a bit. While it is in the drain and the water is backing up, slowly turn it and wait to see if the water starts draining. What I figure is happening is the thin walls are stopping the water from swirling around and so slightly turning it will cause the water to flow properly. Once I figured this little secret out, I have had zero problems. The water drains better than originally and it catches all the hair to boot! Just make sure you clean it off every once in a while and reinstall it the same way by tweaking it and you should have no problems. The TubShroom is a simple rubber product that works very well at keeping hair from going down the drain when showering or bathing. It was easy to install and is removed easily for cleaning as well. Not what i expected
Bought one of these thinking it would do what it says because when i wash my hair i always loose a good bit. Needless to say the amout of hair i know i loose and the amout that was collected was no wheres near the same. VERY effective and super easy to use and clean!
This thing works! As a family with 3 long-haired gals, we always had issues with drains getting clogged because no other product we tried would work. Other traps wouldn't stay in place or were complicated to use and clean and they still didn't really catch a lot of hair. This thing just pops right into the drain hole, keeps itself in place and when you clean it, the hair pulls right off of it easily usually in one piece, it literally takes like 2 seconds to clean. I now also fully realize how much hair was escaping those other inferior catchers, because this thing really REALLY catches the hair, you'll see it in the volume you pull off of it .
