My favourite writer n one of the best trilogies about. Roman law as a child seemed boring, then i matured. Absolutely world class world building n highly researched material on an very interesting period of human history. Narrated by Tiro, a really interesting character in himself. Cicero, Caesar, Cato, Pompey, Hortensius and others take centre stage, then you have Ciceros wife Terentia who is the spine of the family.
