New model is worth it.
The shave is much closer and much faster. It takes me less than half the time to shave now. Make sure you get the newer model /72 not the older ones. Only wish they would offer a version that has the complete head with the bottom half as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

New cartridge - a great improvement!
I love this new cartridge model for its ease of installation and performance. It includes all 3 razor heads already locked into place whereas the older models required removing and installing each cartridge individually. Maybe cheaper going new.
Thought all the loud noise was from the wrong! Blades cut nice like new again but loud noise must be coming from part between head and motor now have to also replace that part. Be sure you get right part.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Replacement heads as good as the original ones that came with the shaver
Replacement heads as good as the originals. They do get dull after awhile but it is gradual so you don't notice at first. Eventually I got to thinking the shaver worked better when new, so I bought new refill for the head cartridge. Took awhile to figure out how to change them but with a lot of help from a youtube video it was easy, though non-obvious. It definitely made a difference. A closer and more comfortable shave. A lesson Learned!
Depending on the shaver you have, I had a shaver years ago I loved, it was a Norelco and I don't remember what model, I would use it driving on my way to work every day, it was the best shaver I ever had because it would shave very close just like a Bic blade. I would roll down my window and empty out the whiskers just by the wind blowing it out, One day I was doing it and the whole head came off rolling down the highway. I ended up throwing the rest out, I bought several shavers over the years but none came even close to the way that shaver worked, I finally bought a Phillips Norelco 9400 and to my surprise this worked just like my old shaver!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

SH90/62 is a better value
The SH90/62 would have worked equally as well for less money. SH90/62 are the shaving heads. The SH90/72 are the shaving heads along with the plastic the shaving heads go into, witch l didn’t need. I tried to find out what the difference was between the 2 and couldn’t get a answer from Philips Norelco.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Genuine product that really works. Worth every penny.
I bought a cheap Chinese knock-off of these replacement heads on Ebay a few months ago.. Bad decision. That replacement heads cartridge looked fine but was horrible...did not so much cut my beard as try to pull the hairs out I decided to spend what I needed to on this product and am totally satisfied. I didn't realize how dull my original shaver heads had become until I replaced it with this new one. This cuts so much better and faster with less irritatioin. From now on I will buy only genuine OEM replacement heads for my Philips Norelco 900 Series shaver. In fact, I already bought another of these on Ebay to be ready to replace the present one in a year or so (as recommended). Lesson learned
