Leatherman is best brand multitool
Leatherman is still the best multi tool out there. All the blades lock on the Wave and that makes it easier to use in cold weather with cold hands. Usually if you are using a multi tool it's because you're in the field away from a full set of tools and this may be the difference between riding an ATV/Side by Side home or walking a long way back to camp/home. Tool excellent, sheath garbage
The leather man itself is of excellent quality. It has every need and is easy to use. With all the thought that went into the tool, I can’t believe the carry case does not have a belt loop on it. 2nd Gen Leatherman Wave made before 2018
Key features that make it stand out from the competition Pros: 1) This is a 2nd generation of Wave made before 2018, which features solid non-replaceable pliers. Current Wave+ (made after 2018) presents extremely thin pliers, pron to breaking due to replaceable wire cutting edges. These replaceable parts easily break after several uses and will cost you a lot of money to maintain your Wave in working shape. 2) Black oxidized coating was made more for military troop in order to not reflect the light, but strangely enough, black coating also provides additional protection from rust and the tool ages quite nicely, i.e coating wears out gracefully. 3) Price is right (under 100 bucks) 4) Compatible with a clip, bit extender, 2 kits of different bits all in the same black oxidized color 5) Features black nylon cover by default Cons: - none, except the fact that it is hard to find them in "New" condition, search for old "new stock"Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Extremely useful, multi-functional tool for every man to carry daily. Lasts many years in normal use, well-made. Leatherman's most useful Multi..
I really like the fact that you can replace the carbide wire cutting jaws and the ease of changing blades on the screwdriver feature. I have the adapter to use any 1/4" hex driver for using nut drivers and any type of 1/4" bit for any purpose,, This is my daily carry now. Thanks a lot.
