Resting mechanism needs work.
The assemby and installation is straight forward. Once the TV is fitted getting it down is usually fairly easily done with a slight lift up, but getting it into the resting position is not that easy. Often the machanism just does not want to accept the hook and you are trying to feel your way round the back of the TV to move the mechanism into the correct position. TV we drop down ceiling mount
I read quite a few reviews saying it did not work properly here is the fix loosen and make sure the Brass swivel locking mechanism is loose and spins easily I did this with a screwdriver and squashing the spring washer slightly this let the Brass lock spin freely and it now works perfectly it's well made and easy to use just push it up slightly to release and lower then to Stowaway just push it up again to lock in position parallel to the ceilingVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
