Good hand held saw
I bought this hand held unit to use when a sawzall could not. I was a bit apprehensive and still am as EBAY shows many of these for parts only. In any event I had a project that required some 2x6 boards be trimmed and they were in a tight area. I had no problem in cutting the boards with this device and the blade included. Again this is not a tool that you can put a lot of pressure on, otherwise it may become a parts only resident in your box. If you take your time and let the unit do the cutting I think you will be impressed with the ease and accuracy it will give you. If you think you can use something like this that can be easily managed with one hand then buy it, as I do not think you will be disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lighter weight and easier to carry
I walk through the woods with my dog. Some of the areas have branches encroaching on the paths I take. The regular sized Reciprocating saw is a bit heavy to carry, so I bought this one.
