poor value for money
At first it looked ideal, a reasonable size, thin and unobtrusive with some extra dots and ovals. It is too thin however and inflexible making it difficult to cope with the compound curves of a tank. The adhesive is fine where the tank is flat (ish) but cannot hold the shape in place when coping with a curve and so the tank protector rises off the tank. Even modifying the shape ( as per instructions ) does not prevent this. Upon removing the protective film a shiny black finish is revealed but doesn't last for even wiping with a quality cloth results in micro-fine scratches that catch the light! A satin or matt finish would have been preferable for this item. Sadly there are better products for around half the price on ebay and this is doubly disappointing as this is an ‘Oxford’ product which is often felt within biking circles as synonymous with quality, on this occasion it most certainly isn’t. I would not buy again and cannot not recommend it. As a member of a national club and a number biking groups I will be asking if others have experienced similar issues with this product and gauging the responses. I will attach photos but they are with a phone and I am no photographer, I will do my best however.
