Great for pet hair and long pile carpet
Excellent vacuum cleaner! My carpet is very thick, and I have two dogs, so daily vacuuming is essential. We have tried various brands, but never kept anything for long but this Shark really went way beyond expectations. It comes with extra attachments which I've already found to be useful in those hard to reach corners (both floor and ceiling), underneath sofas etc. The liftaway feature is great, especially for cleaning the car. Easily emptied and all components go back together nicely when removing wrapped hair or cleaning filter. Well designed, although cord could be a little longer, but we just use an extension lead. Best: Ease of use: even my 6 year old can use this, especially with the liftaway! Worst: Your carpets were *actually factually* really dirty and really gross..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Versatile vacuum cleaner
My first Shark cleaner and definitely won't be the last. Easy to use with on board tools and the lift off facility is great for the stairs and car. Decent sized tank, which is easy to empty. Powerful suction gives your home a really deep clean. Headlights are a great feature. Very quiet in operation. A little heavier than some but given the good points I wouldn't be put off by this. Shark pet upright vacuum
Was slightly nervous about changing from my dyson to Shark but I shouldn’t have been. Very easy to use, emptying is easy and the lift away facility is great for stairs and car interiors,honestly it made it so much easier my dyson would often fall over at top of bottom of stairs or I would struggle with it bumping into me because it was in the way. It’s compact lightweight, glides well and slides underneath furniture better than the dyson, lights on the front is a nice touch as you can see if something hasn’t been picked up easily. Cord length is find for average size 3 bed home. the only thing is the lift cord clip is a bit awkward to use but I’m sure you can buy a better one very cheaply if it really irritates you and certainly not a reason not to purchase this vacuum. Definitely recommend Shark
I've been using a cylinder hoover for several months after my previous upright hoover was returned due to a fault I couldn't wait to purchase another upright. Several work colleagues recommended Shark and after reviewing several cordless hoovers my daughter purchased a cordless Shark and is extremely happy with it. This vacuum was on special offer, I love it, great suction, easy to use, several tools and a very long cord, another plus is the LED headlights great for spotting that hidden dust. Brilliant vacuum
I wish I'd bought this years ago. A joy to use. Really easy to carry and thoughtfully designed, Much more effective on carpets and much lighter and quicker than some more expensive and better known brand vacuums we've had. It has a smaller footprint so takes up less floor space in the pantry than my previous uprights. Our carpet looked so much better in seconds that I said even if it broke down on its first day I would buy another. Great light on the front for vacuuming in the dark. Clean sweep
The best product I have bought in awhile. Easy access to the brush roll is a a bonus. I like the lift away feature for doing my stairs and it is lightweight. The ease of switching from hard floor to carpet superb. I also like the swivel head feature it makes it easy for going round corners. The lights on the vacuum at floor level is good for dark corners. Would highly recommend this vacuum.
I have only tinkered with it at the moment but after testing, found the appliance was well adapted and built for any household stairs, carpets, settee`s, skirting, even the decreasing of suction power came in very handy. Carpets like new.
Have had 4 different Dyson vacuum cleaners and have of late been disappointed due to loss of suction even after cleaning filters. The shark wow what a difference not as heavy easy to use love the lift away for stairs and used on carpet after it had been cleared by my Dyson how shocked to see the difference and debris removed.
