Great tester!
I have used it on a number of loads of wood and have used it to start "organizing" the wood to make sure that the wetter wood gets placed where it will dry a little before needed. This was truly an excellent investment. Stale product. The installed battery was rusted and may have damaged the connectors. The device turned on when I replaced the battery but failed the calibration test. I don't know if the product is good or bad because I never was able to use it. Returned immediately.

It's great for the price but feel like the modes are backwards. The building setting allows for way more moisture the the wood. But maybe Im not using it for intended use. I think it is well designed, well-made, user-friendly, all things considered excellent. Wish I had bought one years ago. It really helps me keep up with which batch of firewood is appropriately seasoned. Just remember you cannot test the end of the log and less it was just cut that day.
