I can't emphasis enough how good this method of learning a language is. No books, no homework - just simply listen and work it out. I have bought many course books but this box set of CDs is the best. I have copied them onto my iPod so that when I am out walking I can listen at leisure. Michael Thomas-advanced Spanish
Rest assured, although this is a very nice way to learn a language, there is no interraction which is essential to be able to speak fluently. I have just returned from Spain and after all my work with Michel Thomas courses I could not understand a word and was furious. What this course does is give you a good grounding but that is all. He does not even mention numbers and the days of the week. Very strange. None of these courses make you fluent but it is well worth a try.
