Bette and Joan's rivalry is nothing compared with this family rivalry... a must-read book
This story is well known already and 40 years old, but this is a compelling read all the same ! Everyone knows about Bette and Joan's rivalry, however, JC was also jealous of her adopted daughter and she and the first son, Chris, were adopted and treated badly.. some of the stories are horrifying, something from a horror movie, but, they ring true. Christina, the daughter and he brother are survivors... they win in this spectacle of life, hands down....
