Cracking bundle of The Official Highway Code and Know Your Traffic Signs. Ideal for learner drivers of cars, motorcycles and bigger vehicles to begin to understand the rules of the road. This also has information relating to pedestrians and those on horseback and bicycles. Everyone should get an updated Highway Code at least every five years so as to refresh your mind. The book on Traffic Signs is perfect for my daughter who will be venturing out on her motorcycle for the first time in the next few weeks. She is a total newbie to the roads and takes the books wherever she goes to gen up when she has a little spare time. She is currently learning about the painted road lines and all of their meanings. It's a good way of keeping up with changes in traffic law, particularly if there are new signs that are unfamiliar to you. Surprised by some that I hadn't even heard of! Worth a read to keep up to date. None of that was the reason I bought the book. I needed some signs for my model railway, particularly the large green major route signs as they aren't available commercially. Unfortunately I had to attend a Speed Awareness course having be clocked over the speed limit. I was some what embarrassed to find that I had not read the Highway code for many years.
