Just give it a try!
At first glance this might seem like airy fairy nonsense but I'd urge you to give it a try. I found the first few chapters hard going but I stuck with it and it all started to make sense. I've already had some minor successes with it so I'm going to carry on and try for more major things in my life. I've just bought a copy for my daughter. I could have loaned her my copy but I want it to re-read and refer back to. It isn't the sort of book you read once and forget about, it's more of a guidebook or manual. Just give it a try.
