Good but not great
As far as art books go I would put this in the beginners category but saying that there is much in here for the more advanced artist. It is less of a process like in the excellent Loomis books but it does challenge you to us your observation skills more and rely less on what you think you see. Overall I would say it’s a book worth owning if only to inspire you to move forward and question what you’ve done so far.
