It has made a massive difference.
Obviously for the older player as you quickly start to play. You have to apply yourself to learn anything. There is no magical fix for learning to play the piano and no substitute for a tutor. If you have the will to learn this book will certainly get you going. Practice is the word and there is no other way. I found this book very helpful indeed and well though out. You progress steadily and several weeks later, in my case, I can read both hands quite well. My aim is to play modern songs from scratch, slowly maybe to start but improving with the weeks.
