    Excellent value, very sturdy

I'm using this for my Canon EOS 250 DSLR. I have a couple of standard lenses - EF-S 15-55 f/3.5-5.6 III and EF50mm f/1.8 STM. I was concerned that the longer lens might overbalance the tripod, but it's very secure. I'm really pleased with how sturdy this feels and also how low it will sit on my work bench. The only slight flaw is that it doesn't have a quick release head, so I can't quickly switch the camera between this tripod and my standard one - but it does clearly say this in the specifications.

Good, depending what you're needs are

Not a bad little tripod. I bought mine to attach to a spotting scope which is used mostly on a window sill where any tripod footprint is limited. It's OK, but not brilliant, however it's not expensive either. If I had bought this to use with a camera chances are it wouldn't be used much as the pan/tilt adjustment is not good - its definitely not smooth - and there's plenty of vibration transmitted from wherever. So overall it gets 3 stars, maybe 4 at a real push, but only if used with a scope.

  • Excellent piece of kit

After having tried several other tripods, mainly to mount a sensitive 70x digital telescope or heavy binoculars, on my desk , some a lot more expensive, I found this one is in a different league altogether. It is obvious when you take it from the box that the solid construction and materials used in it are both quality. The pan and tilt movement are sensitive and lock in place easily, and as firmly as you require, which makes acquiring the target and keeping it very easy. Equipment attaches very firmly and the tripod is solid as a rock, even when fully extended. I ordered a second one before the seller realises these tripods are way under priced in comparison to the weak, fiddly and wobbly competition.

  • Excellent

For £14.99 this is an outstanding tripod, has a lot of features and is very stable. if you compare this too a £10 tripod the difference is massive. I was also very impressed to see it handle the weight of DSLR well. my only issue is the fact it isn't very compact but for £14.99 you get a lot.

  • Firm and petite

Decent little tripod. Screws directly into dslr/flash/light. Great for tabletop work and positioning the camera close to the ground. Couple up with having the viewfinder appear on you mobile and a remote for the shutter.

  • Superb

Very adaptable. Very stable. Very compact when closed. Bargain too. Highly recommend. I use a 60D with a reversed 18-200 which is quite a heavy set up with no problems.
