Leading the way
Great book for a background on leadership, leadership concepts and styles for those leading groups in the outdoors... or considering training to do so. Lots of interesting detail about what makes a good leader, the responsibilities, and the aims and values that underpin good leadership. The book is aimed far more at those that lead younger groups, but the ideas about leadership and the skills, attitudes and functions required to be a good leader are true to anyone leading any kind of outdoor activity
