About this product

Product Information

In 1966 when Linda Eastman was working as a receptionist for a society magazine in New York, she stole an invitation to a welcome party for the Rolling Stones. A keen photographer, she took her camera, snapped away and found she was the only photographer to get an audience with the band. Soon she found herself the photographer to the stars, back-stage at the Fillmore East in the heady days when Hendrix blew audiences away with tower blocks of speakers, when The Who demolished the stage and when the Stones were mad, bad and dangerous to know.
