Hudl 2 replacement screen
The screen was delivered promptly and looks brand new. I fitted it myself and all's working perfectly. Extremely happy customer!!!! :-) One thing worth mentioning to anyone thinking of doing this repair yourself....buy a mobile phone toolkit on eBay for about £3, pretty essential to have the small screwdrivers and plastic 'spudgers' for doing the job. New Hudl2 screen
I dropped my old Hudl2, breaking the screen. After looking online, I found that I could replace the screen myself following some online Youtube instructions. I found this product on Ebay and thought that I'd give it a try. I also bought an inexpensive pack of tools to help do the job. When this product arrived I was very pleased, the screen looked brand new, much better than my old screen. Hudl2 replacement screen
New screens on eBay were advertised at around £200 which is more than a new tablet! This replacement screen cost £25, was excellently packaged, very good condition and easy to fit. The only downside which I didn't foresee was trouble pairing to our home wifi. The Hudl could see the network and even showed 'connected' but when trying to get online it always showed a connection issue. I checked the settings and everything looked okay so was stumped. The only way I thought of fixing it was to do a factory reset. This worked but obviously wiped the contents. There's life in the old dog yet!
Kids are still using their Hudl 2 three years on and they are still running as well as the day we got them. I've seen nothing that comes close in terms of spec/price to warrant replacing them so when one was recently dropped and the screen cracked, it was a no brainer to order replacement screen. A little delicate in parts to replace, but take your time and follow the youtube video closely and you will suceed in no time. Revitalised an older product.
