i've read two novels by this amazing author, and ''The Birds'' was another wonderful creation by Daphne Du Maurier! Her style captivates you! her narrative captivates you! and it takes you to the heart of the events where there is a sense of isolation, fear and even melancholy as in the story ''The Apple Tree''! i will definately keep reading more and more by this writer because it is a real joy!!
