Good, but no cigar.
Not what I really wanted to do the job with, it is very good, well made, but far to heavy for splitting starting sticks, and far to long in the handle, to have the control you need when your fingers are so close. This is more for splitting logs that have already been split with a full size axe, and NOT for making starting sticks, as I thought. To heavy and to long for the job I wanted it for.
