The Best Hotaru Currently Available
Currently the best Hotaru Shidare piece available. The Pulchra piece in the pipe is excellent also (as is the Sega prize for the money) but it doesn't capture her personality quite as well and also there's no candy! A Hotaru without snacks just isn't right. This one has it all. An excellent pose, a beautiful sculpt, a great paint job, very detailed accessories, and best of all, a metal foot peg reinforcement absent from entirely too many figures. When they first showed this figure I was expecting it to be in the $300 range as I wasn't too familiar with the going rates of scale figures and even at that I probably would have bought it. At $130ish from most retailers it's a slam dunk if you love this whimsical character. I practically stole mine for $92 on a holiday deal. Now if only the Saya was so affordable and easily obtainable...
