Product Information
On Sunday 30 January 1972, a protest march organized by the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association took place in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, in the area of the Bogside and Creggan Estate. During the afternoon of that march, 13 civilians were killed by British soldiers, and another 13 were injured. As a result, a tribunal was appointed to inquire into the events which led up to this tragic loss of life. Heading the inquiry was Lord Widgery. This book contains the text of his report. The current inquiry into the events now known as Bloody Sunday frequently refers to the original inquiry, and there is a great demand and need for Lord Widgery's report to be available and in circulation.Product Identifiers
