fabulous postapocalypse writing
While the films based on this novel are not without their own merits, the original print version still stands head and shoulders above them in terms of impact and power and concise forceful treatment of the end of at least the protagonist's world. Nothing like the film!! The film is good especially if you are Will Smith film, but the book is more about the character himself and how he really survives in an apocalyptic world.
