My daughter is studying Macbeth for her GSCE and I wanted to get her the best txt I could. The version includes lots of extras - a great introduction, resumes of the scenes, profiles of the characters, discussion of various themes and loads of helpful notes. It said it was second hand but that there would be no underlining or writing in the margins; there was a lot throughout the book. Most of it was in pencil, which was easy to erase. This book is on the GCSE English curriculum and as such I have bought my son a copy so that he can annotate it without getting reprimanded in the lessons and to help him to achieve his potential. I'm not a pushy parent, just someone who wants to provide the tools for my son as he studies.
