Tastes Just Like Authentic Oriental Cooking!
I've cooked several dishes from this book, and friends are very impressed with the results. Comments were made such as "you'd have to pay a lot for this kind of cooking". i felt very proud of myself. I stuck rigidly to the book though, even sourcing the produce on line that I was unable to purchase locally. The Mussaman curry Paste I purchased on line was delicious, but once I've used this paste up I shall be attempting to make up Rick Stein's Mussaman Curry Paste recipe which is printed in this book along with many many more pastes etc. The various different flavours are amazing in every recipe. So so different to what you would get in any takeaway or supermarket. You really would have to go to a high end restaurant for this standard of cooking. But my advise is to be able to achieve that, you must above all else 'stick' to the recipe by the book and you will be very impressed with yourself.
