Memories of old Croydon
I was given a copy of this book for Christmas by my Wife, during our visit to friends on New years eve We chatted to a 90+ year old lady and I showed her this book, she was enthralled, it brought back many happy memories of her youth and married life, I gather she was brought up in the area and lived there for many years with her partner and they both ran various shops in Croydon of which some are in this book. I am looking forward to presenting this copy to her soon. From my point of view the illustrations are great especially the trams of which I have many memories. It is a great buy for the Croydon and Croydon transport enthusiasts.

MEMORIES OF CROYDON
I was born in the late 1940s near Croydon, lived there for 30 years, This book, brought back many memories, of land marks in Croydon. Recommend to anybody similar to myself dwelling back on their youth!!
