Nice mixer, bad enegineer design
The mixer is good powerful and with some improvement, The motor of the mixer is very quieter, unfortunately there is a bad design on the gearbox no allowed adjust the timing belt. as the timing belt is too tight give some vibration to the gearbox and makes your mixer extra loud- I fixed, but require complete dissemble of the mixer and round files to adjust the holes of gearbox where the motor fit and then loose the timing beltVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Reconditioned Chef
I am delighted with my Titanium Chef, it’s powerful and mixes cakes and bread dough beautifully. I was a little unsure what the reconditioned status meant, but with 12mth warranty felt it was ok to try it. There’s a tiny mark on the top of the mixer. Quiet, stylish, powerful with the option of many attachments.
I'd wanted a Kenwood Chef for sometime as the reviews on them are very good, and the range of accessories very good too. However as you get what you pay for they are also quite pricey so I thought I would keep an eye out for a refurbished one. I managed to get a Titanium which is a high spec from Kenwood themselves, at a lower cost than the lowest spec. It does only have one year guarantee but I'm hoping that as it's such a good make this was a gamble worth taking. On very close inspection I found two tiny marks on the metal casing which you wouldn't spot normally. I don't know if that was the reason for it being 'refurbished'. I'm absolutely delighted with it.
