Apple product hater now semi converted.
I have used apple products for 30 years since 1982, over last 5 years have been jaded by Apple products and their holy-than-thow attitude, both to buyers and supply chain. My daughter(14) persauded me to purchase I-pod touch. Its very good, goes back to reliable electronics. 2nd gen. is classy looking, and backs it up with dependable audio and visio outcomes. My seller delivered item early and spotless. Obviously a chamois letter was used before it was shipped. Ideal for car
As new car does not have CD player we were forced to buy an MP3 player. As this would only be used in the car, opted for refurbished model. Very pleased with the ease of downloading music, pairing with car etc. But very disappointed the lists of music do not show on the screen in the car. 10 Year Old iPod Still Useful Today
I wanted to replace my old iPod Nano which had seen better days and researched the iPod Touch as a possible replacement. The most recent models hold their price well (too well !) so I found that the 2nd Generation version was more in my budget. Reviews on the internet for what is now a ten year old model weren't confidence inspiring with reports of slow operation, out of date apps like the one for YouTube no longer functioning etc. The model I received works well. It's as fast as my iPhone 4s and most apps function well. The YouTube app isn't operational but the site is still accessible and working via the Safari browser. Most importantly iTunes works well and the iPod Touch imported my music library without any problems. WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity work as well as any smartphone. If you want a competant music player which can be used for light web browsing and email, you will be happy with the iPod Touch 2nd Generation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

A little bargain
At under £35 this has exceeded my expectation I had been trying, without success, to create a USB stick containing music to fit the socket in my new car; however, with just 8gb capacity I soon copied over 500 songs to the iPod, with the best part of 2gb space to spare. It sounds great through my car stereo; plus artist, track & album details are displayed on my dashboard screen. Also good through headphones & playing video.
