The Streamlight Scorpion Flashlight is super compact and lightweight flashlight with surprising power for its size. The Streamlight Scorpion features a Xenon gas bulb with up to 7900 peak beam candlepower or 78 lumens of measured output. The flashlight’s range of light is 178 meters, and it has an adjustable spot-to-flood focus. In order to adjust the light or switch it on and off, simply rotate the head of the flashlight using the textured strip. The Streamlight Scorpion is powered by two non-rechargeable CR123A lithium batteries. The Xenon gas bulb is designed to last through five sets of batteries. Streamlight manufactures their flashlights with the quality and durability necessary for daily use in mind. The body of the Scorpion is made of aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish. The aluminum body is covered with a rubber armored sleeve and textured grip to prevent dropping, and the interior is sealed with O-rings to keep moisture out. The flashlight is extremely compact at 5.1 inches long, and it weighs only 4.5 ounces. You can hardly notice this flashlight in your pocket or bag, and it is built to withstand daily abuse and drops. Accessories included with the Streamlight Scorpion flashlight are two CR123A lithium batteries and a spare bulb. These batteries can have a ten year shelf life, and so they can be unlikely to die while being stored without use. Optional accessories are available to purchase as well, including a nylon holster for carrying and protecting your flashlight. Venerable workhorse light
Used Streamlight products for many years. They are always the best. This ultra small light is extrmely bright. I've had three (I tend to mis-place them) and will keep buyng them as long as they arer around.
