The family size Panasonic NN-ST479S microwave, in stainless steel, oven features 15 programmes, 8 with an automatic sensor so there's no need to enter the weight. The NN-ST479S also has built-in inverter technology that provides more even and constant cooking. This technology also reduces the weight of ovens, making for easier cleaning. With auto weight reheat, auto weight cook, turbo reheat, chaos defrost, all of which take the guesswork out of timing. Includes jog control and distinctive double pop-out control panel.

Automatically Compact and Ambitious
For it's 27L capacity this oven is pretty much as compact as i could find with all the bells and whistles for the price that it is. It has many features which might seem daunting at first but reading and re-reading what it can do will produce the most purrrfect jacket spuds (no matter what kind of spud), vegetables from frozen and re-heating of food stuff i have ever tasted. I had an 800w micro and grill before this which of course i never used the grill, and it used to take an age to cook/heat things leaving the finished item 'never quite right'. This silver stainless box does things automatically and in at most 2/3rds of the time, i'm still reading the manual because the food that comes out of it spurs me on to be more ambitious!

Had this item for three weeks when it stopped working. Tried all the usual fixes, but had to return it ! Have decided that for the money I paid I could buy several cheaper ones, which seem to last well ! So won't be getting another.

The designers do not wear spectacles!
All good except for size of the print under the buttons, the capitals are only 2mm tall! Wearing glasses, I have to bend down to read what the button does. I expect that I will learn eventually what buttons do without having to read the labels, but in the meantime I have given the 3 power buttons my own label using a permanent marker pen. Apart from this, I am happy with the product.

A very good mirowave
It take up a little more space on the work top than my old microwave but it is much larger inside which is wat I wanted. I am vry pleased with it and I am glad I brought it.

Amazed I Found One.
