Compact, fast scanner!
I accidentally bought the wrong version of this scanner. I meant to get the newer 1300i, but after setting up and using it, I've been pretty impressed with this version. I needed something to replace a Neat Scanner that won't work on Windows 10 (scanner probably would, but I wanted to use the software and that's no longer supported). I found out about the newer version of this scanner when looking up alternatives to my old system and liked the reviews. Thought I'd gotten that version but when I got it, I realized I'd made a mistake and bought the wrong one. Regardless, along with using Paperless software by Mariner, my scanning is SO much faster and I have the features I wanted and it all works on Windows 10. The default scanning resolution scans really fast, which cut my scanning down to less than half the time it took me with my old Neat scanner. And it scans both sides of a document at the same time! This is a feature I didn't really realize I even wanted, but now that I have it? I love it! That resolution is quite good, too! Though, if I needed better, I can change that resolution. Don't think it will be necessary, though. So, other than it being an older version scanner, I'm pretty happy with my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great scanner, but setup is a pain
I love this scanner because it's fast and easy to use. However, whenever I disconnect it and reconnect it I have to go through a lengthy set of steps to get the computer to recognize it again. I had hoped to use it with more than one laptop with ease, but this is unfortunately not the case. It also sometimes rotates the image when rotation isn't needed and there's no easy way to rotate it back to the proper orientation, so it's better to turn autorotate off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Just what I needed.

Missing instruction manual & software download
Product works very well! However, it arrived with zero software installation instructions. If I hadn't had a friend with the same scanner (brand new) and a user manual, i never would've been able to set up my machine. Obsolete
