Trojan at its best
This double album is fantastic as either an introduction to the genre or for seasoned faces. The knee note are good....dwell a bit much on the late mod/early skinhead scene as opposed to identifying this fantastic sound with the mid 60s mod crowd who were as at home with ska as they were the Action or the Who. But it's the music that counts here in many cases twice the soul of Motown at half the speed. Excellent!
