Hoyt's Carbon Matrix Black Out bow wears out your target, not your arms. The lightweight bow, designed and built in Salt Lake City, Utah, features a high-tech hollow carbon tube riser. The light-weight design reduces vibration and improves performance and precision. At only 35-inches axle-to-axle, it has the stability of a much longer bow, without the weight. High quality fiberglass components are used in the laminating process on the limbs. Not only are the limbs eye-catching, they reduce recoil and increase smoothness of the shot. A custom grip and 7.25-inch brace height, make this 3.8-pound bow a favorite of novice and professional hunters.

Still one of the best bows available
People seem to get a new bow every year for that extra 2-3% of advantage over last years model. I think that’s dumb. Take for instance the carbon matrix. I had an experienced archer I know shoot it against a redwrx and the difference was marginal at best. And it cost me 15% of what a new bow would cost. It’s increasingly light, and will work with all your modern accessories. These bows are incredibly tough, and have never been a better value. If you’re just getting started or are looking for a backup rig, you can’t go wrong with a carbon matrix.
