Great all rounder
This is a great quality drill which can beat used for a wide range of uses, variable speed setting is good keyless chuck works well and not too heavy.

Quality Powerful Hammer Drill
Good quality hammer drill. Smaller than the old one it's replacing but with same capacity chuck. The other had many years of use so didn't hesitate to stick with Bosch for the replacement. The speed control within the operating switch takes getting used to but no issues overall.

A very nice drill for an amateur do it yourself fan like me. Well balanced, easy to grip and vibration free, with a positive chuck, it is a pleasure to use after putting up with a well used previous model which suffered from a deteriorating chuck.

Smaller, lighter, compact
This is a lot lighter than my husband's previous 30 year old Bosch drill so hopefully it will last as long. Smaller and more compact than the old one so easier to handle and use. Good price for good product and reputation.

Considerable electronic upgrade.
Typical Bosch quality, though had a similar model some years ago, which had a larger body & better quality chuck, but it had less power & did not overload at all & died. This newer version has noticeably more power & more importantly, the reason I chose this one was for the overload protection. It works & works well, so it should have a longer life in a d.i.y environment.

Far better than the 700. But i did replace the chuck with a keyed version. As bosch seem to have a problem with keyless chuck fitted. I comes loose using it in hammer mode.
