The New Gemini Splash Down Solo is a awesome product for Extreme Distance Casting and with the new improvement it will ease take a 6/0 hook no problem there ease to use and a dream to cast with I highly recommend the new Gemini Splash Down Solo and to use home made sea leads you will be massively impressed with the way you can cast them and there will open every time when there hit the surface of the water not be for a must have peace of kit by the awesome company Gemini.

Not Genuine
These are NOT genuine Gemini clips. The plastic plate which slides to release the hook is different and needs too much force to release. The genuine article has a chamfered leading edge but these are square cornered. The photo is misleading and not a true representation of what you are buying. Packaging is incorrect, obviously supplied in bulk and re-packaged into plastic bags in quantities of 5.

Gemini clips for carpers
Don't spend big dollar on the clips with leads, just camou these up add your own leads, job done. They work a treat with heli style rigs, improve your casting distance, and sleep sound on your bed knowing your rig is not tangled!! Amen to that. BRILLIANT PRODUCT ! Me and a friend took Carp of 58.00 and 59.00lb respectively using them last week. Happy days

A simple bait clip that workas very well
This bait clip is easy to use and holds the baited hook securely. Great for casting off the ground as the hook can not fall out. My only gripe is the wire loop is a bit thick making attaching the lead a bit of a struggle.

Quality and they work without fail.
Brilliant! These clips hold the hooks for the cast with short or long snoods and always release. I have used them with weights from 2oz to 5oz and I cannot imaging fishing without them now. They last too, so the materials are quality.

Gemini Splash Down Solo Bait Clips
Bit pricey, lowest price from this supplier but this is the only bait clip I am aware of that allows you to cast a big bait e.g. a joey mackeral a good distance, must limit hook size to 6/0 or 7/0 or will not clip in
