The HP Deskjet 1510 All-in-One inkjet printer features fast performance and a high-quality output. What makes it an all-in-one device is the fact that it doesn’t just print. It also copies and scans. With Windows XP, it requires 128 MB of RAM and 750 MB of free space. Windows Vista requires 512 MB of RAM. Windows 7, 8, and 10 all require 1 GB of RAM and 2 GB of free disk space. Windows Vista needs an 800 MHz Intel Pentium II or Celeron processor, while Windows 7, 8, and 10 require a 1 GHz processor. You will also need a computer with a CD or DVD drive and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later. For a Mac computer, the HP Deskjet 1510 printer minimum system requirements are Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard, OS X v10.7 Lion, OS X v10.8 Mountain Lion, OS X v10.9 Mavericks, or OS X v10.10 Yosemite. With these operating systems, once you've got your drivers and software installed, you can be ready to print great images and documents. Your operating system may even recognize the printer once it's plugged into the USB port and load the right driver without you having to so much as click your mouse a few times.The Deskjet produces clear, sharp pages of text even when using smaller fonts. For plain paper printing, the best resolution mode prints at 600 by 600 dpi. Images are printed at 1200 by 1200 dpi resolution. Photos and illustrations come out looking great using this printer, so you can get those brochures or flyers to really attract the eye. Regular text print speed is up to 20 pages per minute. Color print speed is up to 16 pages per minute. It copies regular text at four and a half copies per minute or color copies at three copies per minute. The Deskjet uses the HP 61 or the higher capacity 61XL black ink cartridges and 61 or 61XL tri-color ink cartridges.During printing, the first page prints in as fast as 17 seconds for black text and as fast as 24 seconds for color pages. When setting up the printer or changing an ink cartridge, remember to align the print heads to keep that great quality going.The HP Deskjet is ideal for smaller offices or home use. It can handle more than 1,000 pages of high-quality output each month. It maintains its quality output with whatever you need to print, which includes paper, envelopes, index cards, labels, and photos for your home or business. Budget Printer
After much on-line research, I ordered this printer for use at a vacation property. The printer was easy to set-up, as Windows 7 recognized the device and easily loaded the right driver. It works fine, and was a great value. That said, the printer itself, with the included "trial-sized" color and black cartridges was priced less than what a set of HP "full size" replacement cartridges would cost. It's like they give you the printer, and hope that they will make up for it on the back end, selling factory ink cartridges. Presently, if this runs out of ink, I'd likely be money ahead by buying another printer! If one wants a workhorse printer, spend a couple hundred dollars and buy a color laser printer. If color isn't an issue, find a big old HP office quality,laser, printer. We have two that have been going fine for a decade.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

HP contains malicious processes
As far as the printer working that is great. However, when you run out of the expensive HP genuine ink and attempt to use a generic refill the malicious processes put in the system are invoked; presenting many fraudulent errors that prevent printing of anything. This is intentional and malicious as is found in most to all HP products for up to 20 plus years or more. Furthermore, all HP products are specifically designed for the theft of personal, private, and confidential information. Do not believe any statements made by HP or Intel claiming claiming to have any privacy or security. Their so-called 'security' is to protect those they allow to steal information from the true computer owner being the true owner of the information. This is all factually economic espionage and economic sabotage. I will challenge any expert that begs to differ. Best solution is to never buy ANY HP products for any reason. However, this is not a total solution to the problem of security an privacy as HP has been embedded in most to all software wherefore the software manufacturer gives them the 'rights' to steal information from the true computer owner.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

HP PSC 1510 printer
I did not install the printer as soon as I received it which was not good.I installed it 3 months later and found it prints great with regular paper, but not HP glossy photo paper. The photo paper sticks, jams or sometimes gets stuck when threading/feeding the photo paper to print. Its like the feeder/roller does not grab the glossy paper. Not the same 1510
Not all HP 1510 are the same. It was NEW and I bought a three year additional warranty with it. however I was looking for a replacement for my HP PSC 1510 which uses 93 cartridges. This HP 1510 does NOT use my additionally purchased cartridges. This HP 1510 uses 63 cartridges BUT it did come with the lower yielding cartridges. It does not have the PIC bridge which I have no idea how to use on the front of the printer and paper ejects from the rear and not the front as the PSC 1510. My dissatisfaction comes from the new lower priced cartridges that I now have to buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I chose This printer because it as a glass scanner and it has a picture doc. this printer is the specifically made it for printing brilliant colored pictures as well as the normal expectations, e.g. printing, scanning, copying and printing. the black Cartridge slot has an option For a Second Tri color black cartridge with 3 shades of color in it for printing Exquisite quality vibrant/ Brilliant colors when printing pictures on photo paper. It has the traditional Tri color cartridge ( Red, yellow, ETC.) The cartridges are still available and are Priced at around $17 for Remanufactured originals. HP sells new originals for $56. I love the idea that this was a complete set with ink cartridges! I love it! Set up was a little difficult because I couldn't figure out why the ink cartridges kept reading that they were not installed correctly. I am not sure what I did, but they now work! Good basic printer
I have a old desktop computer and needed a basic printer with none of the hi tech gadgets like Wi-Fi. This printer suits my needs perfectly. It replaced a more "sophisticated" HP printer that had the extra features but in all honesty this new printer makes a better copy than my old one.
