The Humax PVR-9150T DVR has a hard disc drive capacity of 160 GB, and broadcasts signals through a cable, or a terrestrial transmitter. A maximum of 100 hours of TV programmes can be recorded by the device, which can be viewed later at ease. Don't Ever Buy Second Hand
I am sure these were great when brand new but this is my second Humax Freeview box and both have developed operational issues after a couple of years. The 9150 now loses it's configuration if I put it into standby. I have changed the memory back-up battery but this didn't fix it. Have also read several forums with many people suffering the same issue. No-one has a fix and Humax just blame the hardware. This will be the last Humax that I purchase. Just what we needed!
Great little machine. Just what we wanted. Easy to use once I'd worked out the online instructions, which were a bit confusing. No problems and have been using it for about 2 weeks. Good value and works well.
NIcely made and generally works very well. However, it is worth noting that this is a generic remote control that has been configured for the Humax PVR 9150T. As such, although main function buttons are obvious some of the less used functions (e.g pip functions) have been re-allocated to other buttons. The supplier provides a 'key' list on his receipt to identify which buttons do what! I provide photos of the control and the key list provided which I have copied, re-vamped and stuck to the back of my control! You do quickly get used to the alternative button functions and it does work well.

Ok technology has moved on but not all of us are as upto date as we would like to be ! This recorder is so easy to use and to playback, its excellent value and for the price it has stopped the arguments about who has the control. It does what it claims it can do. and I am satisfied with that.

Human twin tuner
This is a great freeview twin tuner. I bought one recently to replace my old one. It was very easy to use, remote control is very intuitive. Very good device, better than others tried.
Having tried other PVRs when my very old 9150 "was no longer", I found they are understandably reconditioned. It has easy to read screens / menus, and easy to find facilities, records 2 while watch one, view recording schedule, and more. Maybe Im doing something wrong
Most channels are jumpy or scrambled. it is very user friendly. I am in Cheshire and it picks up welsh tv? most channels are scrambled I live semi rural so that might be why. Any tips.
