This unit replaces another Ipod of the same generation that finally gave up the ghost, after years of faithfull service.
These are rugged, compact and have plenty of capacity for my purposes. I actually prefer the click wheel to the touch screen of later models ...less chance of accidental changes to what I am listening to. Price is great too.

Little IPOD fits perfect in your pocket
Love this little Ipod! The size is just right to put in your pocket and you don't have to worry about tweaking or bending it. Wish Apple still made these they hold a lot of music and video and are easy to conceal and transport anywhere you go. It works just like the IPOD Classic in all ways. I have bought 3 of them and loaded them up for different family members to enjoy. The price is right and it makes a great gift.

A Legendary Product
This simple device, long past its prime and no longer manufactured, is a legend from Apple. It was relatively inexpensive when new, had great digital storage capacity, and battery life beyond belief. I am a gym rat using this device about 2 hours a night five days a week. Soaking in sweat with the 3rd Gen Nano attached by armband. Finally bought a (new) used one after 10 years-- just bored with the color. Really no other good reason to replace it. LOL Yes, it is THAT good.

Nano Gen 3
I bought this as a replacement for a previous one. I accidently got the original wet(in salt water), and, although it still works fine, the display is very dim. The Gen 3 fits an iPod dock in my boat so I take my music on the water with me. I have over 1000 songs loaded on both units. Battery life is very good, recharge is quick. Sound quality is excellent. The fact that I'm on my second one is testimony of what I think about it.
