Great quality firm grip on material from the clamps. Used for Motorbike riding.
I'm not one for wearing braces.Purchased for use with kevlar motorcycle jeans in summer I was sick of jeans falling down when off the bike n walking around even with a belt.Also used in autumn/winter with waterproof thermal textile motorcycle trousers. I was getting a gap between the rear top of trousers when riding and cold in my back ,not ideal in the cold n wet . From belt to braces
At 62 years of age I'm getting a bit big in the stomach area which meant doing my belt really tight to keep my trousers up, even then my stomach pushes them down and I'm forever hoisting them up. Moving from belt to braces solved that problem, much more comfortable, keeps my trousers at whatever height I set the adjusters too. Wide and non-stretchy is great for work trousers, but I do use with a suit as well. Downside... the clips make a mark on the trousers (can't be helped and is always hidden by clips) and you have to get used to the slight weight on your shoulders (doesn't take long).
