Specifically designed for prescription glasses users, these practical performance fit over sunglasses help eliminate unwanted light, whilst cutting out glare to help the angler see deeper. Weight: 35g.
Fortis Overwraps (They fit over the top of regular prescription glasses) are BRILLIANT there is no other word for it.
I Fly Fish chalk streams and fly fishery ponds and I also Course Fish lakes and commercial ponds.
These glasses are the best sunnys I have ever owned by a very long mile.
I opted for the Amber AM/PM lenses, these amplify the dark area while offering a significant amount of relief from the brighter areas.
Now this might sound a bit weird but they actually seem to lift my spirits while wearing them as everything has a golden glow, hence the expression 'Rose Coloured Spectacles'
Now I had then in the glove box of my car the other day it was sunny with a lot of reflections from the screens of oncoming cars, so I grabbed them from the glove box and donned them, I was absolutely amazed, it completely stopped all the reflections from oncoming vehicles, but not only that it also eliminated the reflections on the inside of my own windscreen from inside my own vehicle it, was chalk and cheese, I liken it driving into the sun with dirty screen and doing the same with clean screen. These definitely make driving much safer by eliminating glare and reflections from all sources.
This is the part of the review that your expecting me to say they are so good I am going to buy a second pair to keep in the car, well I am not because they are quite expensive at just a few pence below £40, but I will certainly look after this pair and they will hover between my fishing box and my glove box.
I 100% recommend these Overwraps, Fortis also do a set similar for non glasses wearers these are called Wraps and they are less expensive, you will have noted I used the term 'Less Expensive' and not cheaper, there is nothing cheap about these sun glasses, not the price or the build quality or the user experience. They are worth every penny of the £40 ish I paid for them.
Great product well done Fortis 5****'s.

The overwraps fit over my prescription glasses perfectly. They are light and comfortable, and allow me to see furtherr into the water. Perfect for fly fishing for trout!
