Scritti politti IS the king sound of the 80s, simple!
Scritti politti IS the sound of the 80s to me, feel good songs that make you think of listening to the radio in the summer and feeling good. The songs haven't aged abit. Scritti politti were the coolest band of the 80s, not too commercial so you weren't given ear ache by too much air play. Pray like aretha franklyn is perhaps the more well known with absolute as a close second, then I think they came back in the 90s with oh Patti.
