A brilliant, classic, simple and efficient to use!
This is a simple straightforward vented tumble dryer, it has no flashy programs, just turn to select time and it will start and stop when required. It dries really well and is about 4 times as quick as my super fancy (expensive) heat pump dryer, which never properly dried anything, so you had to have clothes and sheets all over the house in bad weather, causing condensation and making the house look like a laundry. By the way the fancy driers heat pump broke after just two years and we were told it wasn’t worth repairing due to the cost of a replacement pump, to be honest, my wife didn’t want it repairing as she hated it. Despite the push to get us to buy heat pumps, all the data clearly shows that this old fashioned dryer is actually more efficient and cheaper to run. We love it!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job but disappointing design flaws.
It’s easy to use, having simple controls, and it does the job. However, it is surprisingly noisy, the lead is too short, exiting from the bottom rear corner of the machine instead of nearer the top, and the timer knob feels to be of poor quality. Worst of all, the new “feature” of the last 10 mins of each use being a drying cycle means that a) the dryer has to be run for 10 minutes longer per cycle than my old dryer; b) you can’t benefit from a hot dryer for the start of the next load and c) you can’t put the last last load in for less time and benefit from the residual heat of the drum by leaving the load in after the dryer has stopped.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

AS DRYERS SHOULD BE...DRIES CLOTHES FAST..ONE BUTTON ONE OF THESE USELESS 12 CYCLES for this type and that ryoe of clothes..throw em in press a button and leave it to dry your clothes..helps alot with the reverse tumble..ONE negative is that the clothes seam to congregate against the door..slightly leaning the dryer to the rear helps with this..could do with re design of the drum paddles or drum..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
