About this product

Product Information

This bawdy British tale follows the exploits of a trio of filmmakers who want to adapt an erotic poem for the screen. Desperate for money, they get support from four different backers who each want a different movie: a family film, a martial arts musical, a gay western, and a sexy porno. The hilarious result is different films, and ESKIMO NELL is hot enough to melt the ice away.

  • Revelatory and awe-inspiring film triumph!

This may just be the finest cinematic triumph since The Seventh Seal. Eskimo Nell displays many of the thematic values embraced by Tarkovsky and Bergman. An existential yearning is present from scene to scene as we see the character develop. I recommend it for inclusion into the National Film Archives and call SHAME on the British Film Institute for turning its back on this absolute masterwork of film-making history!

  • Light weight sexual activity.

A very funny romp from by the cast of this DvD. A thoroughly enjoyable and tame (compared to the current day standards) romp through the bawdy days of the then steamy days of the sexual revolution!!!!!. Would recommend it. Very happy with the standard of the overall product quality and would recommend this product. No complaints or problems at all. Obviously not a recommendation for young children.
