    Flying with Tom

    Tom Hanks at his usual best in the true story of the captain (Sully) that saved all the lives when their plane crashed. The DVD also has interviews with the actual pilot and passengers who were on the plane.

    I brought this film on recommendation from my 9 year old grandson who said how greatly was and how unfair he thought sully was treated for saving everyone onboard this flight just because he landed in the Hudson River, and how right was he it was brilliant and sully should of received a medal for bringing this aeroplane down safely and saving everyone’s life superb.

    Tom Hanks is always good.

    A very good film. A bit slow to start but after about 20 minutes it was really gripping. I hadn't realised he was being blamed for the crash initially but the airline company were obviously displeased at losing an aircraft!! I must watch it again very soon.

    This film was well thought out and appeared be well founded on the real life facts such as I understood them. The dramatisation of the formal accident enquiry is something I cannot comment on, but I am prepared to accept that what was portrayed was essentially a true representation of what took place.
