Amazing Adition
Another amazing addition to the franchise. These films will stand alone but to give them context and more depth to the characters they are best watched in order and if time permits all together. I love that you are drawn into a world that is so alike to our own that you wonder if these films are based on more than an overactive imagination. They make you laugh and cry with the characters and are equally good for young adults and adults alike. If you watch them in order you feel like you learn and grow with the characters witch is amazing in and of itself.

Didn't really grab me
Whilst the film has the usual high level of effects, the story doesn't really grab you and the villain is a caricature of so many we have seen in Marvel / DC films before. Yes it's still entertaining, but not to the same high level. If you missed this when watching in chronological order it probably wouldn't have too significant an impact to your understanding of how we got to where we are in the long term story. To be honest a bit disappointed. Yes you learn a bit more about a few characters, but nothing too earth shattering......unless of course some new key link / backwards relevant item comes out in a future X-men film that makes something in this become critical.
